Juhi was born and educated in Vadodara, Gujarat, India with bachelor's degree in architecture and spent time working as an architect from 2015-2019 in India.
After visting her brother in Dauphin, Manitoba and to travel throughout the major provinces for 6 months, she was inspired to move to Canada. She applied for permanent residency under skilled worker overseas program through IRCC and
Moved to dauphin, Manitoba Canada in March 2019 and worked as architectural designer/draftsperson at edifice engineering (dauphin) from 2019-2021 prior to moving to Winnipeg in May 2022.
A firm believer in life long learning, Juhi took building code courses at Red River College and is now a certified building code official currently working with city of Winnipeg in planning and permits department.
Juhi was granted Canadian citizenship in January 2024.
Her passion includes all racquet sports and different workout trainings. Her travels have spanned across 5 countries and she likes to meet new people, explore different cultures and food.
Juhi enjoys volunteering and decided to use power of her time and experience to volunteer with Rotary Club of Winnipeg since December 2022.
Juhi is excited to take on a new role in working with young leaders and learning more about human rights as Co-Chair of the RAHR program.
Taiseer is a business analyst and management consultant. She holds a Masters degree in Management with focus on Innovation, Technology & Operations.
In addition to post graduate degree in international business, she holds a bachelor degree in accounting and finance and is pursuing a CPA designation.
She nurtures a keen interest in designing and implementing knowledge sharing and strategies to raise awareness about positive peace and peace building activities locally, nationally and internationally.
As a self taught artist, Taiseer believes that art is a great non-violence tool for expression and conflict resolution.
Presently, Taiseer is an active member of the Rotary Club of Winnipeg and Vice Chair of Learn Peace Canada
Tamara Larson is an impactful leader with a heart for servant leadership. Growing up in a home with a family business, and a mother who was a teacher, she developed a love of education and an entrepreneurial spirit at a young age.
On her journey, Tamara has faced both personal and professional challenges; inspired by this, Tamara has founded two national organizations invested in building strong, safe, healthy communities. Grow Leaders is her social enterprise invested in creating diverse and inclusive cultures that supports Learn Peace Canada , a NFP focused on transformational and experiential peace education initiatives for learners of all ages.
Using education as a key tool, together, she and her teams create dynamic leadership development opportunities that provide action plans for changemakers.
Choosing to be an upstander and changemaker, Tamara is a Rotarian dedicated to supporting human rights, peace building and conflict resolution; she was named Rotarian of the Year in 2018 for her work in developing leading edge youth programs and risk management protocols.
Today, in addition to her work with RAHR, Tamara is an Empowering Girls Ambassador for Rotary International along with being named a Cabinet Member for Women United, United Way Alberta Capital Region.
She was nominated in 2021 and again in 2022 for the prestigious Tällberg-SNF- Eliasson Global Leadership Prize, RBC 2023 Women of Influence nominee and most recently awarded the Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Medal.
In August 2023, Grow Leaders was honored to be recognized as at Top Emerging Diversity and Inclusion Company in Canada.
Most recently, she was invited by UNITAR (United Nations Institute for Training and Research) to participate in their outstanding Women’s Leadership for Peace program in Geneva (October 2023).
In August 2024, Tamara was invited to join the Peace Activator (North America and the Carribean) program with Rotary International and the Institute for Economics and Peace (IEP) .
Born and educated in Winnipeg, Rob attended the University of Manitoba Faculty of Agriculture graduating in 1970 with a Plant Science major.
From 1970 to 2013 Rob worked in the Seed and Special Crops Industry. His responsibilities included the management of production, cleaning, handling and marketing from Quebec to BC including the Northern US.
He was also responsible for developing export markets throughout the Western Hemisphere, Europe, North Africa, the Middle East and South Asia. He has developed and done business in 40 countries, travelling to 27 of them.
Rob has been a board member and president of industry associations over his career, namely the Canadian Spice Association and the Canadian Special Crops Association.
He has also taken a board and leadership role as Chair in many non profit community service organizations, such as Kinsmen, Rotary Club of Winnipeg, Maple Grove Rugby Park, The Manitoba Schizophrenia Society and The St. Andrews Society of Winnipeg. He is presently Chair of the Advisory Board of The Queens Own Cameron Highlanders of Canada.
His passions include just about everything outdoors including hunting, fishing and photography as well as a special interest in the history of conflict. He is married to Barbara and they have two children and four grandchildren all residing in Winnipeg!
