NOTE we strongly recommend students and volunteers to be fully vaccinated to participate in RAHR 2024 for the safety and well being of all
The goal and mandate of RAHR is to provide students with the opportunity to explore human rights by exploring themes such as women's rights, gender equity, Indigenous perspectives, genocide, racism, discrimination, sustainability, positive peace, immigration versus refugee status, when rights are denied and more!
At the end of the program, students will have the opportunity to create an action plan that they can implement in their school or community.
With their new found insight into human rights and peace building, students will be encouraged to continue their peace journey in the Emerging Issues in Human Rights course at the University of Winnipeg Global College (Summer 2024).
