Don’t have a Rotary club sponsor? No problem! Apply, and we will do our best to help you find a sponsor club.
The goal and mandate of RAHR is to provide students with the opportunity to better understand human rights by exploring themes such as gender equity, truth and reconciliation, when human rights are denied, genocide, and the experiences of refugees or immigrants.
The program also covers important topics like digital citizenship, being an upstander, positive peace, and peace building, all of which are essential in fostering a deeper understanding of human rights and social responsibility.
At the end of the program, students will have the chance to create an action plan that they can implement in their school or community.
With their newfound insight into human rights and peace building, students will be encouraged to continue their peace journey as changemakers within their communities.
